U.S. Embassy – Property Auction
The sale is by open auction in Hungarian Forints.
The U.S. Government provides no warranty or guarantee for the merchandise and is not responsible for any repairs at the time of the sale or thereafter. Goods will be sold on "as-is/where-is" basis Items must be paid only by bank transfer to next Bank Account Number:

Bank transfers must be made on the first business day following the closing of the EAuction.
Bank transfers that were not made in that time frame cannot be processed and the lots cannot be delivered on the days indicated for that purpose.
The bank statement must include the name of the WINNER, the NUMBER OF THE LOTS and the FINAL AMOUNT.
In case of finding any discrepancy with our data, it will be impossible for us to edit the receipts and the lots will not be delivered.
The receipts will be received by the buyers at the place of " Picking up " of the lots, only on the day and time established for this.
The place of “picking up” the goods:
American Embassy in Budapest,
The exact date will be agreed with the online auctioneer after the bank transfer.
The winning lots will only be paid out and accepted within the time frame agreed with the auctioneer.
Items purchased are not intended for resale.
Any taxes or customs payable is the responsibility of the purchaser.
Shipment of purchased lots is at the expense and risk of the buyer, who is also responsible for the moving and transportation of the purchased item. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide all necessary manpower, tools and equipment to move the items from the Embassy show area to their vehicle.
Ownership transfers to the buyer only upon full payment of the final sale price. Each buyer is personally liable for his own purchases; he cannot claim to act for the account of a third person.
The U.S. Government retains the right to withdraw items from the sale.
The auctioneer is authorized to put up an item for auction again, if necessary, to resolve disputes. The numerical order of the list of items is strictly observed.
The only legally valid text of the "Conditions of Sale" is the English version.
