How it works
NOTICE: U.S. Embassy Surplus Movable Property Online Auction
The U.S. Embassies are conducting sales of surplus movable property through a web-based electronic auction platform. Each auction will be active for a specified period, with the start and end dates clearly displayed on the information panel of the web application. Typically, auctions run over a two-week period.
During the auction, participants may submit bids for surplus property. The maximum number of bids allowed per item is indicated on each item’s listing. Bids can only be increased in the local currency. Participants are encouraged to monitor their bids closely to respond to price developments effectively.
Winning bidders will receive an email containing a link to the auction application. After successfully logging in, winners can review their purchased items.
For further details, please consult the auction platform or contact the relevant embassy.
WARNING: The online auction sale is restricted to Switzerland and neighboring countries within the Eurozone. Net payment in CHF must be completed exclusively through Pay.gov. Please note that in-person pickup of items is mandatory.
