U.S. Embassy Tashkent sells surplus property via an online auction platform at https://online-auction.state.gov/en-US.
Participants must be 18 years old to bid in the online auction. The auction is open to the public. Interested bidders must create a user account on the website and include a valid email address and phone number. Participants should review the user agreement and privacy notice available on the auction website.
Each auction has unique lot numbers, detailed descriptions, current conditions, functionality, and photos.
U.S. Embassy Tashkent provides no warranty on the purchased items. They are for sale as-is and cannot be returned or refunded.
GSO property manages Embassy Tashkent’s site and activates auctions for a period, clearly stating the start and end date on the information panel of the web application. Usually, auctions will be active for one to two weeks. During this period, participants can submit bids on any desired lots. The maximum number of bids can be viewed for each lot.
The currency for payment (UZS or USD) is indicated and viewable for each auction. During the auction, participants should monitor their bids. At the close of bidding, winners will receive an email from the online auction platform with a link to log in and review their winning lots.
If an auction participant wins, they must pay and pick up their lot within the timeframe indicated on the auction website.
Vehicle Auction
Vehicle auctions are conducted online, and an additional in‑person vehicle viewing may be scheduled outside the Embassy parking lot. Participation in the vehicle viewing is optional.
Bidding Rules And Consequences For Unfair Bidding
Embassy Tashkent requires transparent and equitable bidding practices during its auctions and may disqualify bids or bar participants who violate the following rules:
One user ID per bidder. Each participant must create a single unique user ID to take part in Embassy Tashkent’s online auctions. At their discretion, auction administrators may permanently bar users found to be using multiple or fake accounts. Barred individuals are not permitted to create new user IDs for future auctions.
No consecutive maximum bid increases. Each lot has a maximum bid increment that cannot be exceeded. Bidders may not place multiple consecutive maximum bids, as this unfairly restricts other participants. Auction administrators monitor bidding activity daily. Violators may be banned from future Embassy Tashkent online auctions.
Payment required for winning bids. Bidders must pay for and collect any lots they win. They may not reduce or negotiate the bid amount after winning. Failure to complete the purchase of a won lot will result in a permanent ban from future Embassy Tashkent online auctions.
If a winning bidder refuses to purchase their lot, it will be offered to the next highest bidder. If more than three bidders for the same lot decline to purchase it, the lot will be reauctioned.
Winning bidders must pay for their items either in cash (UZS or USD) at the Embassy cashier or by electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the Embassy bank account. The auction website provides detailed instructions for EFT payments. The currency of payment must match the currency of the winning lot (e.g., if the lot is won in UZS, payment must be made in UZS). For LE staff and the public, EFT payments through local banks or mobile applications (e.g., Payme or Click) are strongly preferred.
If the winner makes the payment by bank transfer or through mobile apps, they must send a copy of the receipt to TashkentAuction@state.gov or to the Telegram number +998 90 830 0999.
Payment for auction lots can be made in the following ways:
1. By bank transfer to the U.S. Embassy bank account (payment must be in Uzbekistani Sum — UZS).
2. In cash or by check at the U.S. Embassy cashier.
Cash payments may be made in either U.S. dollars or Uzbekistani Sum.
Checks cannot be accepted from non‑Embassy employees.

Purchased lot(s) cannot be picked up until the payment is reflected in the Embassy’s account.
Once payment is confirmed, the Embassy will contact the winner.
With a receipt from the Embassy cashier or confirmation from the GSO Property team, winning bidders must pick up their lots at the specified location and times. Any winning bids not collected during the scheduled timeframe will be disposed of, with no possibility of later retrieval. In special circumstances, a bidder may request an alternate pickup date and time by contacting TashkentAuction@state.gov for approval.
After the purchase is confirmed, GSO Property will move the items to the Embassy’s outside parking lot located at 3 Moyqorghon Street, Yunusabad District.
Once the items are in the custody of the winning bidder, the bidder becomes the owner of the merchandise and is fully responsible for handling and removing the items from Embassy property in a timely manner, as well as for any costs associated with customs and/or tax authority requirements.
Items not removed promptly may be considered abandoned and disposed of accordingly. If specialized equipment is required to remove items from the Embassy compound (e.g., a crane), the winning bidder must coordinate with GSO Property to arrange pickup and removal of the lot.
Payment for and pickup of winning bids must be completed within three (3) working days after the auction closes.
Do not come to pick up lot(s) until you receive confirmation from the GSO Property team by email or phone.
After you win a lot, there is no option to view it before making payment, as all items are sold as is.
The GSO Property team must receive confirmation from the Finance Office that funds have been deposited into the Embassy bank account before releasing any lot(s).
The condition descriptions provided for each lot are for informational purposes only. Items may or may not be repaired, and this also applies to salvage items.
