How it works

The U.S. Embassy Islamabad is selling movable property (SMP) via a Web Based Electronic Auction. This auction will be activated for a period of time clearly stating from February 18, 2024 and will end on February 20, 2024. It will be active from Monday to Friday lasting one week. During this period, you can actively take part and submit your bid for the surplus property. 

Maximum number of bids on one item is stated at each item. Increasing your bids is possible only in the local currency name. During the auction you should monitor your bids so you can react on all bids price development. 

Email for winners will consist of a link to the auction application where you can review your items, after successful login. 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

1. ALL ITEMS ARE BEING SOLD ON "AS IS AND WHERE IS" BASIS.

2. NO WARRANTY AND GUARANTY OF ANY ITEMS.

3. ITEMS ONCE SOLD WILL NOT BE RETURNED AND ARE NON- REFUNDABLE.

4. AUCTION COMMITTEE HAS RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY LOT AT ANY TIME WITHOUT ANY REASON.

5. WEAR A MASK, KEEP DISTANCE AT LEAST 6 FEET & USE HAND SANITIZER ALL THE TIME DURING THE INSPECTION TO PROTECT YOURSELF & OTHERS.

How to pay for your items

Payment for your won lots is possible only in the form of PAY Order in the name of "US Embassy Islamabad"


In the case you have bid and won more than one lot, you can pay one pay order consisting of full amount of all won lots but all lot detail must be identified as described in receiving form. Items can only be picked up after payment has been successfully credited in US Embassy account.

Note: It could take more than one week to transfer money from your bank to the U.S. Embassy bank. It will not be possible to pick up your items if your payment is not indicated on the U.S. Embassy bank account.

     02 days will be given for the payment and date will be informed accordingly.


How to pick-up your items

In order to retrieve your items, you must present the original receipt of US Embassy, Islamabad which is handed over to you at the time of submission of Pay orders.

Any paid items that are not picked up during the scheduled time frame will be disposed off, and there will be no possibility for their retrieval. In special cases or circumstances, you may arrange a different pick-up date and time by contacting the auction manager.

After successful confirmation of payment for your items, You will be responsible to pick your items out of the storage building. From that time on, you are the owner of your merchandise. You will have the full responsibility for subsequent handling procedures and removal from Embassy property in a timely manner. If items are not removed in a timely manner they may be considered abandoned and disposed off.
