How it works

The U.S. Embassy is conducting online auctions via a Web Based Electronic Auction. Each auction will be activated for a period of time clearly stating the start and end date. During this period, you can actively take part and submit your bid.

The Auction will consist of items like furniture including sofa 3- and 2-Seater, hutch, occasional chairs, hydraulic bunk beds, appliances including refrigerators, cooking range dehumidifiers, air purifiers, dryers' washers, lamps, Printers, Monitors, and other miscellaneous items on an "As IS", "Where is" Basis, No Physical inspections are allowed. All appliances, equipment and IT material are being sold as "E-waste" .  Only e-waste registered entity shall bid on these lots. 

You will need to register your profile at https://online-auction.state.gov. Once you register you need to select New Delhi post and subscribe for the auctions. 

Please note that any kind of manipulation or wrong bidding will result in cancellation/blacklisting from US Embassy auctions. The bidder will not be allowed to take part for any of the auctions in future. 

Maximum number of bids on one item is stated at each item. Increasing your bids is possible only in the local currency name. During the auction you should monitor your bids so you can react on all bids price development. Please note that the final decision of selling the item based on the bid price will be entirely done by US Embassy. The U S Embassy Reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any given point of time.

Email for winners will consist of link to the auction application where you can review your items, after successful login.

According to our "All or nothing" policy winners must pay for and take possession of All items they have successfully bid on!

How to pay for your items

You need to make sure that you transfer the total sales proceeds or the bid amount INR within 24hrs to our below bank account. You need to confirm us the UTR number for verification purpose at NDPropertyBidding@state.gov

Failure of payment to below account within 24hrs will automatically cancel your bid and will be then taken up with second highest bidder. The second highest bidder will be then notified via our team and will be proceeded with the sale. The highest bidder will have no rights if he does not make the payment within 24rs after the closure date and time specified for the auction.

How to pick-up your items

Once we confirm about the winning bidders, you will have to make the arrangements of pick up. Usually the pick up will happen on Saturday between 8.30 am to 3.30 pm , will notify you the date of pick up via email (NDPropertyBidding@state.gov).  You need to send us details  one day in advance of the person coming for pick to grant access to our warehouse. (Aadhaar card original mandatory) 

Below is the pick up address and google location.  Once you reach the location, please ask for the service gate entrance to the guards. you may refer to the accurate google location link below to navigate to the service gate entry area. 

At the service gate you will have to show the same identity details which were shared to us before and winning bid results documents. If the bidder cannot show up himself then he need to authorize any other person  on mail or hand written letter.

  1. It is mandatory to send identity details one day in advance for you to get access to the pick up site. 
  2. Please arrange a vehicle which will accommodate all the items that you will be taking along with you. You also need to arrange you own loaders who will lift the material and arrange it inside the vehicle. You must furnish identification details of person along with Aadhaar Card copies and vehicle number so that we can provide you access inside our premises. 
  3. Mobiles are not allowed inside US consulate compound.
  4. Multiple rounds with small vehicle will not be allowed.
  5. Drivers and loaders must ensure that they are wearing safety shoes and neatly dressed.
  6. Failure to pick up material on the mentioned date will incur penalty of Rs.1000 per day.
