This new mode consists in the modernization and use of new technologies where the client’s experience is more interactive and easier to use. This new process allows to improve in how the current auctions are done, preparing them in an online portal where all interested clients can see what is for sale with detailed information and photos; all this accessible from any Smartphone, laptop, tablet, computer, etc.

This new experience allows to you to bid wherever and whenever you want, just by using their smartphones, which makes participation simpler to all areas.

To participate in our online auctions, you must create an account in the Online Auction Website System. Users must be at least 18 years of age.

How to pay for your items

 

Thank you for your participation in the U.S. Embassy’s new online auction platform. The instructions for how to pay for your successful bids are below.

You may make payment either by electronic funds transfer (EFT) or direct deposit – Cordoba deposit using the following information:

Beneficiary Bank: Banco LAFISE BANCENTRO, Managua, Nicaragua

Account Name: U.S. Disbursing Officer, Symbol 8769, Account Number. 100216430

- Be sure to include in the deposit or transfer description your name and winning “lot” numbers. This is the only way that you the successful bidder, your merchandise and payment for it can be matched.

- In the event that you have won more than one lot you may pay the total amount due for all lots in one deposit or transfer, but all lots must be identified as described in the previous bullet.

- You have three working days after the auction closes to pay for lots at LAFISE Bancentro. If payment is not received within three working days the lot will be considered abandoned and your bid will be removed from the system. The next highest bidder will be declared the winner. Bidders who fail to pay for awarded lots will be banned from participating in future auctions.

- Lots can be retrieved only after confirmation that you have made payment in full. Receipt of payment is considered complete when the funds reach the U.S. Embassy bank account and the cashier issues an official receipt.

- Notify the Embassy Cashier, Warehouse Supervisor and Financial Specialist at the following email addresses when you have made a deposit or transfer, including the date, amount, and lot number. Those email addresses are: Buitragorb@state.gov or Managuagsowarehouse@state.gov. When we received your payment confirmation mail, one of the embassy staff will contact by phone call to schedule your pick up date.

How to pick-up your items

 

Thank you for your participation in the U.S. Embassy’s new online auction platform. The instructions for how to pick up your merchandise are below.

Thank you for participating in our new online auction. In order to retrieve your merchandise, you must first scan and send the bank money transfer receipt to Buitragorb@state.gov or Managuagsowarehouse@state.gov confirming payment. When you arrive to pick up your items, present the original receipt of bank money transfer with all required details included in the payment paragraph above or a provide a printed version of the internet banking money transfer.

After successful confirmation of payment for your items, our staff will move them out to the front of the storage building. From that time on you are the owner of your merchandise and are fully responsible for removing it from Embassy property in a timely manner. If items are not removed in a timely manner they may be considered abandoned and disposed of.

In an unusual circumstance you may be able to reschedule a pick-up date and time. You must contact the auction manager prior to the originally scheduled pick up time to make alternate arrangements.

Vehicles take additional time to be deliver because of bill of sale preparation. Additional information will be required to you once you pay your lot.
